Effective treatment for bacterial conjunctivitis (pink eye). Sterile solution prevents introduction of contaminants. Targets a wide range of susceptible ocular pathogens.

Requires Prescription: Yes (Typically required for topical ocular antibiotics).

Used For: Bacterial infections of the eye and surrounding structures, including corneal ulcers and conjunctivitis.

How it Works: Ciprofloxacin inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase, preventing the bacteria from multiplying and thereby clearing the infection.

Usage & Safety Dosage: 1 to 2 drops in the affected eye(s) 4 times a day, or as directed by an ophthalmologist. Do not touch the dropper tip to the eye.

Side Effects: Temporary burning, stinging, itching, discomfort, or redness of the eye.

Drug Interactions: Avoid using with other topical eye medications unless advised by a doctor. Separate administration by at least 5 minutes.
