Used For:

How it Works:

Iron Sucrose releases elemental iron into the bloodstream, which binds with transferrin and ferritin, enabling the production of hemoglobin and new red blood cells, thereby correcting anemia efficiently.

Usage & Safety Dosage:

Administered intravenously (IV) by slow injection or infusion.

Dosage is carefully calculated by the physician according to the patient’s iron deficit and clinical response.

Side Effects:

Possible effects include dizziness, low blood pressure, headache, metallic taste, and injection site pain or swelling.

Drug Interactions:
